Reliable, modern rental boats at Saltstraumen
Saltstraumen Brygge maintains a state-of-the-art rental boat fleet of 36 aluminum boats.
Fifteen of the boats are 19-foot Kvaerno, sixteen are 20-foot Gemi boats. All boats have an 80 hp Honda rear engine. All boats are equipped with a Garmin chartplotter and depth sounder, making them perfect fishing boats.
A jetty leads to the boats.
The rental boats are equipped with:

- Sonar
- 10 rod holders
- 73 liters tank
Safety at sea
Safety is very important. Everyone who comes for fishing, gets an instruction about how the currents behave at Saltstraumen. In addition, everyone receives a tide calendar, which shows exactly when the currents are strongest.
Legal provisions
Boaters who are after the 1.1. Born in 1980 need a valid boat license for boats with more than 25 hp.
